The new 2012 Nissan Titan will be a re-design that was initially intended to be incorporated into the Dodge Ram model, but when that co-development contract with Chrysler collapsed, the auto engineers at Nissan had to come up with a new concept for this version. The closest competitors for this model would therefore include the Dodge Ram 150, Ford F-150, and the Toyota Tundra.
