Top 10 most expensive cars in market
Top 10 most expensive cars available on the market today are:
1. Bugatti Veyron $1,700,000. Reaching 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, making it the fastest accelerating car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron top speed of 253 mph makes it the second fastest. It barely beats out the Lamborghini Reventon for being the most expensive legal street car in production today. Bugatti Veyron: Most Expensive Car in The World
2. Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000. Reventon promises to deliver 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and top speed of 211 mph making it the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini has ever built. Only 20 have been produced which are another reason why they are so valuable.
3. McLaren F1 $970,000. Not to be outperformed by today's cars, the McLaren F1 reaches 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and its maximum speed is 240 mph. The McLaren F1 was built in 1994.

It reaches 60 mph in 2.7 seconds with top speeds at over an amazing 257 mph and can out race the most expensive car in the world despite the fact that it cost nearly half as much. Only 25 will be produced of this particular model.
7. Saleen S7 Twin Turbo $555,000. Reaching 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and top speed of 248 makes the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo the third fastest car in the world. It is the only true American supercar to make the top 10 list so it's one you can be very proud driving in.
8. Koenigsegg CCX $545,568. With top speed of over 245 mph the Swedish made Koenigsegg CCX is set on establishing itself as the manufacturer of the fastest car in the world. In fourth place it has an uphill battle to overcome king of the mountain.
9. Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Roadster $495,000. Doing 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 206 mph, makes the SLR McLaren the fastest automatic transmission car available in the world today.
10. Porsche Carrera GT $440,000. Finally, in Tenth Place and nothing to be ashamed of goes to Porsche Carrera GT. Reaching 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and having a top speed of 205 mph, the Carrera GT is known for its dynamic stability control and unprecedented feel for the road.
If you want a new car and can't afford any of the above sport cars and want to consider an alternative to one, search online to find the best deal. Who knows what you may decide upon when viewing pre-owned cars, used cars, etc. Do a checklist of what you desire in a car.

Fastest Cars in the World
As a lover of fast cool cars, we have created the top 10 fastest cars in the world. Many believe the Bugatti Veyron to be the worlds fastest production car which is incorrect. It actually comes in 4th position so starting at 10th position and working our way down, here are the 10 fastest cars in the world...
10th Fastest Car in the World = Jaguar XJ220 - 227mph
9th Fastest Car in the World = Ultima GT-R640 - 231mph
8th Fastest Car in the World = TVR Cebera Speed 12 - 240mph
7th Fastest Car in the World = Mclaren F1 - 240mph
6th Fastest Car in the World = Koenigsegg CCX - 241mph
5th Fastest Car in the World = Saleen S7 Twin Turbo - 248mph
4th Fastest Car in the World = Bugatti Veyron - 253mph
3rd Fastest Car in the World = Koenigsegg CCXR- 254mph
2nd Fastest Car in the World = Porsche GT9 - 254mph
The Fastest Car In The World Is....
So we've gone through the top 10, and here is the fastest car in the world, the Shelby Super Cars (SSC) Ultimate Aero. The 1287 hp V8 powers this carbon fibre clad "Hyper-car" all the way to 257mph! It gets to 60 mph in 2.78 seconds, and will power it's way down a 1/4 mile strip in 9.9 seconds. This is one FAST car!
Number 1 Fastest Car in the World = Shelby Super Cars (SSC) Ultimate Aero - 257mph
Video of the SSC Ultimate Aero
Interesting to know that SSC are working on (and will be producing) the Ultimate Aero EV. This will be the first 200mph+ electric car powered by a single 500bhp electric motor. It's worth mentioning that SSC are playing around with bolting 2 of their 500bhp motors together for a 100hp electric Hyper-car. Who says you can't have an economical Hypercar?

Software running on computers and mobile phone -- heck, even guitars -- but cars?
We're pretty comfortable with the idea of open source software running on computers and mobile phone -- heck, even guitars -- but cars?
That one we're still warming up to, but this concept vehicle from EDAG definitely helps. As its name implies, the Light Car - Open Source lets developers modify and / or improve upon the auto's technologies -- or at least put a SNES emulator on the back. The lithium ion-powered bubble car also sports an OLED-infused exterior for lights and signals that are supposedly useful both to the driver and other nearby motorists, but in actuality we suspect it'd just scare anyone tailing behind. No information on the interior, but we imagine a decked out dashboard and some futuristic chairs. It's currently being shown off at the Geneva Motor Show.

Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit MKIV recently spotted in London.
Check out this car, a cool 1 million dollar modded 1995 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit MKIV recently spotted in London. The ultimate show off car!

It was customized by Indian firm DC Designs and is rumored to belong to the Sultan of Brunei's family. Check out the cool doors!

The worst thing about this car has to be the dodgy number plate! Please tell me CEXI means something in another language or counting system. Because as far as I know, it's a tacky misspelling of "SEXY" and makes you look like an idiot.
