The 2010 Jaguar XKR Convertible, powered by the 5.0-liter supercharged V-8, was introduced earlier this year. Now German tuner Arden who is specializes in tuning Jaguar models released a new tuning package for the vehicle.
This Arden Jaguar XKR 5.0L Convertible is based on the previous Arden AJ20 Coupe. The package includes a range of performance and styling upgrades. Thanks to the new quad-piped sport exhaust system, the tuned XKR Convertible gets an extra 30 bhp and 50 Nm of torque. As a result, the final output rates at 540 horsepower and 498 pound-feet of torque. With that power, the Arden XKR Convertible easily reaches a top speed of 320 km/h, while the standard XKR 5.0L is just 250 km/h.
As for the styling, upgrades include a new chrome grille up front, modified air intakes, 9x21-inch Sportline alloy wheels. At the rear, there’s a new diffuser that houses the tail pipes of the new sport exhaust system. Optional is the V-Max suspension. Other upgrades, such as big brakes, a leather sports steering wheel and a lowering system will likely be available.
