These are the latest line EVO Ducati Monster 1100 new EVO squeezes more performance out of the air-cooled L Twin. The Evolution Desmodue Twin still has the same internal architecture, displacement with a 98 mm bore, 71.5 mm stroke and 1078cc. The two-valve cylinder head desmodromic changes, however, more aggressive cam profiles with increasing valve lift. The shape of the intake ports and combustion chamber have been modified with new pistons. Revisions compression to 11.3:1 (from 10.7:1) encounter. It also adds five more horsepower, 100 hp with its claim to relief as the first Ducati two-valve to reach the 100 ponies.
